James Hickling is currently a Graduate Fellow at The Rockefeller University, a position held since August 2023. Previously, James served as a Senior Research Technician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from January 2022 to July 2023, where contributions were made in the Maciejowski Lab. Prior experience includes two roles at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Dr. Leslie Shaw's Laboratory, with a Research Lab Technician II from June 2019 to June 2021 and a Research Lab Technician I earlier. An Independent Undergraduate Researcher role was undertaken at the USDA ARS Plant Pathology Laboratory from January 2018 to May 2019, and an Independent Public Health Researcher role was completed at the Zambian Governance Foundation in the summer of 2017. In June 2016, James participated as part of the Patient Care Advocacy Team at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Cornell University, completed in 2019, and graduated with a high school diploma from Concord Carlisle High School in 2015.
