HHMI Hanna Gray Fellow | Postdoctoral Associate In The Marraffini Lab at Rockefeller University

Paige Arnold, PhD, currently serves as an HHMI Hanna Gray Fellow and Postdoctoral Associate in the Marraffini Lab at The Rockefeller University, focusing on how phages manipulate bacterial metabolic pathways and how bacteria adapt to phage dependence. Previous experience includes a PhD in Cancer Biology from the Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, with dissertation work at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center analyzing metabolic features in pluripotent stem cells and an alternative TCA cycle in cancer cells. Additionally, Paige conducted research on DNA methylation and genome engineering, contributed to policy recommendations on genetic testing, and gained clinical insights through a genetic counseling observership. Educational background comprises a BS in Biology and Genome Sciences & Policy from Duke University, with studies at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad and a high school diploma from Coral Glades High School.
