Youngmin Lee

Youngmin Lee is an accomplished academic and medical professional with extensive experience in the field of medicine, specifically in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since August 2019, Youngmin also holds positions as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Instructor in Clinical Investigation at The Rockefeller University, which started in August 2016. Previous roles include Adjunct Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from October 2009 to August 2023, as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Youngmin's medical training began at Heidelberg University, where an MD was obtained, followed by a PhD in Tumorbiochemistry from the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center.
