Will Muirhead

Will Muirhead is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the sports and technology sectors. As the Founder and Chief Executive of Rocket Sports Internet since July 2016, Muirhead has focused on investing in sports journalists and news creators, overseeing a network of 300 independent brands and individuals with a collective social media following exceeding 250 million. Previously, Muirhead founded fanatix, a mobile and social ticketing platform, which was acquired by Live Ticket Group, and tixdaq, Europe's leading ticket search engine. Additionally, Muirhead served as Managing Director of New Media at Sportech, Inc. and founded SportEV Limited, which developed technology for early OTT/SVOD services and was acquired by the Press Association. Muirhead holds a MA in Economics from The University of Edinburgh.
