Lee Markum is a seasoned database professional with extensive experience in SQL Server administration and cloud database management. Currently serving as a Senior DBA at Rocket Companies since October 2024, Markum previously held the position of Lead Cloud DBA at Upland Software, where responsibilities included mentoring a team of DBAs, implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions, and conducting performance tuning on SQL Server within AWS environments. With a solid background in both production support and process improvement, Markum has worked with industry leaders such as Hunter Engineering Company and Corizon Health, specializing in migrations to AlwaysOn Availability Groups and optimizing database performance.
