Alan Faz

Alan Faz is a Technical Service Engineer at Toray Advanced Composites, specializing in eVTOL qualification plans and compliance inspections since October 2021. Concurrently, Alan serves as Assistant Director at Cal Poly College of Engineering, where responsibilities include staff training and curriculum development for various programming languages and engineering subjects. Alan's leadership experience includes roles on the Board of Directors for Cal Poly Corporation and as Vice Chair of the ASI Board of Directors, managing corporate finance and policy revisions. With a rich background in aerospace systems, Alan has contributed to multiple projects, including CubeSat design and drone development, while also excelling in student governance, focusing on diversity and inclusion initiatives. Alan earned dual degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Spanish, as well as a Master's in Engineering Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
