Andrew Kirkhofer

Andrew Kirkhofer is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and manufacturing industries. Currently employed at Rocket Lab since April 2022, Andrew provides CNC manufacturing guidance for 3-D printed parts. Prior to this role, Andrew was a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at NuSpace Inc., where responsibilities included designing tooling for thin-walled pressure vessels for major clients such as Boeing and SpaceX. Andrew's experience at GKN Aerospace involved overseeing a team and implementing Lean principles across multiple programs, while also serving as a subject matter expert in EDM processes. Previous positions include manufacturing engineering roles at Edelbrock Corporation and Advanced Metalforming Technologies, where Andrew focused on tooling design and manufacturing processes. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
