Matt Hawkins

Matt Hawkins has extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as a Senior Structural Analyst at Rocket Lab since August 2018, after progressing from Structural Analyst. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at Martin Aircraft Company, focusing on the design and analysis of the Martin Jetpack prototype. Matt's career includes roles such as Vehicle Safety Engineer at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd, Data Engineer in the Toyota Racing Series, and R&D Engineer at OptimumG. Earlier experience includes positions as a Student Data Engineer and Machinist, with education culminating in a Master's degree in Advanced Automotive Engineering from ISMANS and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland.
