Tassilo Selover-Stephan

Tassilo Selover-Stephan is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in propulsion design and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Rocket Lab, Tassilo focuses on Archimedes turbomachinery and combustion devices. Prior to this position, significant contributions were made at SpaceX across various roles, including Senior Propulsion Engineer and Propulsion Engineer, with expertise in Raptor combustion devices and related systems. Early experiences include leadership roles in the Oregon State University Rocketry Team, where design and recovery of a sounding rocket were key responsibilities, along with research roles at Oregon State University and Saarland University in materials science and computational studies. Tassilo holds an Honors Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science from Universität des Saarlandes.
