Smita Bankar

Smita Bankar has extensive work experience in finance and analysis roles. Smita currently serves as the Director of Finance at Rocket Lawyer, starting in August 2022. Previously, they held positions at Compass as Director of FP&A from January 2020 to July 2022 and as a Senior Finance Manager of FP&A from October 2020 to January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Irvine Company as a Senior Finance Manager of Strategic Planning & Analysis from June 2018 to October 2020 and as a Finance Manager of Strategic Planning & Analysis from March 2017 to June 2018. Smita also has experience as a Finance Leader in the Sourcing Department at Oakley from April 2015 to March 2017. Before that, they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Johnson & Johnson (Biosense Webster) from November 2012 to April 2015 and at Synthetic Genomics from September 2011 to October 2012. Smita began their career at Goodrich Aerostructures as a Financial Analyst III from June 2006 to September 2011 and gained early finance experience as a Finance Intern at Ernst & Young from May 2005 to May 2006.

Smita Bankar has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.
