Christopher Rung

Christopher Rung has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Christopher most recently worked at Rocket Money (formerly Truebill) as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Flock Safety from February 2022 to July 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, Christopher was with Upside Business Travel, where they held the positions of Senior Site Reliability Engineer from February 2020 to September 2021, and Site Reliability Engineer from July 2017 to February 2020.

Before joining Upside Business Travel, Christopher worked as a Software Engineer at Verato from June 2015 to May 2017.

Christopher also gained experience at Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), starting as an Associate Software Engineer in June 2014 and leaving in April 2015. During their time at IDT, Christopher enhanced an IDL file importer/parser to interpret additional syntax.

Christopher Rung attended Hershey High School from 2006 to 2010. Christopher obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Bucknell University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In terms of certifications, Christopher obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in November 2018. Christopher also earned the Machine Learning certification from Coursera in September 2014 and the MongoDB for Java Developers certification from MongoDB, Inc. in July 2015. Additionally, Christopher obtained the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation in May 2022 and the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation in April 2021.
