Ian Speers

Ian Speers has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Ian started their career as an intern at Comcast Business and later interned at Kitchology Inc. In 2016, they joined NBC News as a Software Developer, contributing to the application stacks for nbcnews.com and today.com. Ian then transitioned to Comcast, where they held multiple roles, including Full Stack Developer and CORE Technology Associate, working on projects such as Comcast Business e-commerce site and customer self-service mobile application. In 2019, they joined Auth0 as a Software Engineer and later became a Software Engineer II. In 2020, Ian founded Cantico.io, where they designed and implemented a multi-tenant algo trading platform. Currently, they are working at Rocket Money (formerly Truebill) as a Full Stack Engineer and has recently been promoted to the position of Senior Software Engineer.

Ian Speers completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Computer Science at Temple University from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Penetration Testing, Incident Response and Forensics from IBM in February 2023 and became a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer from Triplebyte in August 2020.
