Kimberly Hamilton

Kimberly Hamilton has a diverse work history spanning various industries. Kimberly'smost recent position is as a Senior Manager of Financial Education at Rocket Money (formerly Truebill), where they currently work. Prior to this, they founded Beworth Finance, a personal finance education company. As the founder, they taught financial literacy and facilitated workshops with industry partners such as Capital One Café and General Assembly. Kimberly also contributed to major publications such as Forbes and Yahoo Finance.

Before Beworth Finance, Kimberly worked at Integra Government Services International. Kimberly held multiple roles in the company, including Director of Operations/Business Development Manager, Managing Associate, Associate, and Project Specialist. In these roles, they forged partnerships, led operational delivery, managed budgets, and supervised operations across various projects related to agricultural markets, environment, and monitoring and evaluation.

Prior to Integra Government Services International, they worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant at EngenderHealth, where they analyzed data and conducted qualitative analysis on reproductive health and family planning. Kimberly also had internships at the Council on Foreign Relations, Amnesty International, Global Giving Circle, and the Huntington Learning Center.

Kimberly completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Affairs and Development at The New School from 2010 to 2012. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations and Psychology from The City College of New York, where they studied from 2008 to 2010.

In 2009, Kimberly participated in Semester at Sea during the spring semester, focusing on International Relations and Psychology.

Prior to their time at The City College of New York, they attended the University of Miami from 2006 to 2008, where they also studied International Relations and Psychology.

In addition to their formal education, Kimberly has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Kimberly became a Certified Financial Education Instructor from the National Financial Educators Council in 2020. In 2018, they completed the training program for Protecting Human Research Participants offered by the National Institutes of Health. In 2013, they earned the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation from the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, Kimberly is currently working towards becoming an Accredited Financial Counselor™, which they expect to achieve in April 2023 through the AFCPE® (Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education®).
