Alesandro Marangon Ph.d.

Alesandro Marangon, Ph.D., MBA has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Currently, they serve as the Associate Vice President of Business Operations at Rocket Pharmaceuticals, where they have been employed since 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Business Operations at the same company.

Before joining Rocket Pharmaceuticals, Alesandro worked at Novartis from 2016 to 2020. During their tenure at Novartis, they held the roles of Head of TechOps Procurement Americas and Regional Category Manager Americas.

Alesandro also gained experience at Sandoz from 2012 to 2015, where they served as the Regional Strategic Sourcing Manager for LatAM and later as the Global QA Regional Manager for 3rd Party Europe/META.

In addition, Alesandro worked at MENARINI Group as a Production Project Manager in 2011. Prior to this, they worked at Across Barriers GmbH, first as a Scientist from 2006 to 2007, and later as a Senior Scientist and Project Manager/Customer Consultant from 2008 to 2010.

Alesandro's earlier work experience includes a role as a Visiting Scientist at Howard University in 2005 and a Management Trainee position at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in the same year.

Alesandro Marangon, Ph.D., MBA has a diverse education history. In 2002, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Alesandro furthered their education by completing a Post-Graduate program in Industrial Pharmacy at the same university from 2006 to 2007. In 2008, they pursued their passion for research and enrolled in the University of Tübingen, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology in 2011. Later in 2011, Alesandro pursued an MBA with a specialization in International Management (Dual Award) from The Berlin School of Economics and Law, completing it in 2012.
