Head of Development at Rocketfarm

Bent Martin Dyrdal has a diverse work experience. Bent Martin is currently working at Rocketfarm AS as the Head of Development since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Product Development Manager and Software Developer at the same company, starting in March 2021 and September 2020 respectively.

Before joining Rocketfarm AS, Dyrdal worked at Electric Friends as a Robotics Engineer from April 2019 to September 2020. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining software for the company's robots, including high-level control systems and integration with other control systems. Bent Martin also took on project leadership responsibilities for development and delivery projects.

Prior to Electric Friends, Dyrdal worked at Data Respons R&D Services as a Development Engineer from August 2018 to April 2019. In this role, they gained experience in embedded software projects, including Linux/Windows build systems, unit testing, C/C++, and HW/SW debugging. Bent Martin was also involved in project management tasks, such as creating offers and participating in IAT and FAT processes.

Dyrdal started their career with an internship at Cybernetica AS in June 2017, where they gained initial professional experience. Bent Martin then worked as a Summer Intern at Statoil in June 2015, further building their skills and knowledge in the field.

Bent Martin Dyrdal began their education at Sogndal Upper Secondary School (VGS) in 2009 and graduated in 2012. During this time, they focused on Natural Sciences and Mathematics. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in 2013 and obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Subsea Technology in 2016. Continuing their academic journey, Bent pursued a Master's degree at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2016 to 2018, specializing in Industrial Cybernetics. In 2017, they also had the opportunity to study at ETH Zürich, where they obtained another Master's degree in Robotics, Systems, and Control.
