Karan Rao

Karan Rao has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Karan currently serves as the Senior VP of Business at Rocketium, where they lead a platform team to deploy automation solutions for video and image creation. Karan has been with Rocketium since February 2018 and continues to handle customer challenges and build an efficient platform for design, marketing, and product teams.

Prior to joining Rocketium, Karan worked at Deloitte from June 2013 to March 2018. Karan served as a Manager in the S&O Finance (CFO Advisory) division, where they gained around 5 years of experience in management consulting. Karan worked closely with the finance teams of Fortune 500 companies in the US, overseeing large-scale transformation projects. Karan'sareas of expertise included process design, operating model design, FP&A, and management reporting.

Before their time at Deloitte, Karan held a role as a Senior Financial Analyst at TresVista Financial Services from June 2009 to February 2012. Karan worked for a Mumbai-based start-up, providing financial advisory services to private equities, public equities, and entrepreneurs. Karan'sresponsibilities included evaluating investment opportunities across various sectors and geographies such as telecom, technology, banking, petrochemicals, and real estate, with a particular focus on the US, UK, and Middle East markets.

Karan Rao completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a specialization in Finance and Strategy from the Indian School of Business between 2012 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai, which they completed between 2006 and 2009.
