Grenard Madrigal is the Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer, and Lead Full-Stack Developer of RocketLit (formerly known as BirdBrain Education). RocketLit is an education tech company backed by Y-Combinator that focuses on helping students struggling with literacy. Grenard played a key role in developing RocketLit's platform, which adjusts the reading level of assignments to suit each student's needs. The company has gained recognition from Forbes, Huffington Post, and YC S16.

Prior to RocketLit, Grenard worked as a Freelancer, Consultant, Strategist, and All Around Go-to Guy at evolve, create. Grenard also served as a Front End Web Developer at Wpromote from 2014 to 2016.

Grenard has experience working as a Web Branding Specialist at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach from 2012 to 2013, and as a Web Application Developer at SASSFA - Southeast Area Social Services Funding Authority from 2001 to 2012. Additionally, Grenard worked as a Webmaster at UCSB AS Program Board from 2006 to 2007, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining the program board website, as well as creating a staff scheduling web application. Grenard also served as a Web Designer at UC Santa Barbara, Student Affairs from 2005 to 2007.

Grenard Madrigal's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. In 2016, they also participated in a program at Y Combinator, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this experience.
