Tawana Harper

Tawana Harper currently serves as Principal at Rocketship Public Schools, a position held since June 2024. Previously, Tawana Harper was the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Valor Collegiate Academies between June 2022 and June 2024. Prior roles include Principal at Milwaukee College Prep School from August 2020 to July 2022 and Academic Dean at the same institution from August 2009 to August 2019, alongside teaching responsibilities. Tawana Harper holds a Master of Arts in Administrative Leadership from Alverno College and the Burke Fellows program, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Alabama State University.
