Craig Warne has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Craig began their career as a Freelance Musician, Composer & Tutor in 2007 before moving on to work as a Business Development Manager and Operations Manager at Independent Election Services Ltd from 2009 to 2014. At Election Services, Craig focused on problem-solving and process improvement, including database development, project management, and document scanning operations.
In 2014, they joined Scarlet City Studios as a Sound Designer/Composer, where they were responsible for the full audio pipeline, game design, writing, programming, and managing sub-projects. While at Scarlet City Studios, they worked on the online steampunk adventure game, The Aetherlight: Chronicles of the Resistance.
In 2018, Craig joined Weta Gameshop as a Technical Sound Designer, where they worked on secret game projects using Magic Leap technology. Craig contributed to the development and implementation of audio for the flagship game "Dr. Grordbort's Invaders," which won the Grand Prize at the 2019 NZ Game Awards.
Craig then joined Midnight Pixels in 2017 as a Game Designer/Sound Designer, and later in 2020, they joined RocketWerkz as an Audio Programmer.
Craig Warne attended Massey University from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Music.

Founded by Dean Hall, creator of hit survival game DayZ, we are independently-run with creative control but have the backing of one of the world's largest games companies. We also have a studio in Dunedin, on New Zealand's beautiful South Island. We're independent, ambitious, focus on deep PC gaming experiences and have roles for artists, modelers, environment builders, programmers, devops and more.
