Josh O'Hagan started their work experience in 2019 as an Automation and Manual Tester at Adminis, where they built and implemented a new Test Automation Suite to automate website testing. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Research Assistant at Victoria University of Wellington, focusing on a VR 360° video call prototype using Unity, C#, and HLSL. In 2021, they became a Gameplay Ability Programmer at Like Amber, utilizing the Gameplay Ability System in Unreal Engine to create a custom framework for the company's game. In 2022, they became a Master's Student in Computer Graphics at Victoria University of Wellington, specializing in simulating marine sponge growth in 3D using computational fluid dynamics and biology. Currently, they work as a Junior Graphics Programmer at RocketWerkz.

Josh O'Hagan pursued their higher education from 2018 to 2021 at Victoria University of Wellington. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours degree. Their area of focus was in Computer Graphics.
