Nathan Bodwell, SHRM-CP, BS English Education

Nathan Bodwell has work experience in various roles and industries. Nathan started their career as a Student Caller for the Office of Admissions at Bob Jones University in 2003. From 2005 to 2008, they served as a Secondary English and Speech Teacher at North Love Christian School, where they instructed students in English Language Arts and coached them for fine arts competitions.

In 2006, Nathan became a Certified Driving Instructor at Drive Right School of Driving, a role they held until 2009. During this time, they taught driving skills to students.

From 2009 to 2011, Nathan worked as a School Principal/Administrator at Wiscasset Christian Academy, overseeing all aspects of the academy and assisting the Senior Pastor with church ministry.

In 2011, they transitioned to the hospitality industry, working as a Guest Service Representative at The Best Western Clock Tower Resort & Lexington Hotel. Later that year, Nathan became a Math & English Tutor at Huntington Learning Center, providing academic support to students.

Since 2012, Nathan has been working at Rockford Toolcraft Inc as a Human Resources Coordinator. In this role, they manage employee benefits and handles payroll for a workforce of 350 employees. Nathan also provides employee support and collaborates with department managers on personnel issues.

Nathan Bodwell received their Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English Education from Bob Jones University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they obtained an Educator Certificate in English from the South Carolina State Board of Education. In 2008, they obtained a State of Illinois Initial Secondary Teaching Certificate from the Illinois State Board of Education. In January 2017, they became a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) through SHRM. In February 2017, they obtained the ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification from Genesis 1 Technology, Ltd. Most recently, in June 2021, they obtained the Professional Educator Certificate with an English Endorsement from the American Association of Christian Schools.
