L. Thomas Heiser

Vice Chair at Rockford University

L. Thomas Heiser is the current Vice Chair at Rockford University. L. has also served as Chairman Of The Board at Ridgetop Europe NV from October 2018 to February 2020. Prior to that, they were President and CEO at KOE Americas, Inc from April 2012 to February 2014.

Heiser has also been involved with Hitachi in various capacities for over 20 years. L. served as Sr. Vice President and General Manager from April 2006 to December 2010, and President and CEO of Hitachi Electronic Devices USA from October 1998 to March 2017. In their time with Hitachi, Heiser was responsible for all operations of the Systems Products Division, which designs, manufactures and sells custom solutions for unique customers. L. was also responsible for HTA's business development group.

In addition to their work with Hitachi, Heiser has also served as a Trustee at Rockford College from January 2012 to December 2013.

Thomas Heiser has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Rockford University, an Associates Degree in Engineering and Business from Rock Valley College, and a Certificate Program in Mergers and Acquisitions from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. L. also attended Boylan Central Catholic and St. James Grade School.
