Sam Marcum has a diverse work experience. Sam currently works as a Community Groups Director at Rockharbor Church, where they focus on training and supporting community group leaders and members. Prior to this, they served as a Groups and Community Pastor at Cornerstone Church - San Francisco, where they helped people find and grow in Christian community. Sam also held the position of Volunteer Services Coordinator at the San Francisco Food Bank, where they managed volunteer scheduling and recruitment. Additionally, Sam worked as a Team Leader for AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps, leading and managing a team for a year of service. Sam started their career as a Resident Assistant at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.

Sam Marcum has a diverse education history. From 1998 to 2002, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Interpersonal Communication at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Following this, they attended The Kings University from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master of Divinity degree. Most recently, from 2018 to 2021, Sam completed a Master's degree in Practical Theology at The King's University.
