Lucy Williams

Lucy Williams is an experienced geoscientist with a robust background in subsurface management and development geology. Currently serving as the Subsurface Team Leader at Orca Exploration since June 2020, Lucy previously held key positions such as Geoscience Manager and Development Geologist at Rockhopper Exploration PLC, where significant contributions were made to the Sea Lion oil field project. Additionally, Lucy has experience as an Associate Geologist at Challenge Energy Limited and served as Subsurface Manager at Orca Exploration earlier in the career. Lucy's foundational expertise was further developed during a significant tenure at PanOcean Energy as a Senior Geoscientist, focusing on exploration and development geology in Gabon and Tanzania. Lucy commenced the professional journey with over 11 years at Chevron, gaining comprehensive exploration and development experience across various UK and Norwegian license rounds. Academic credentials include an MSc in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Geology from UCL.
