Tyler Hayes

Tyler Hayes, CPCU, AIDA has over 8 years of work experience. Tyler is currently the Executive Vice President at Rocklake Insurance Group, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for developing and maintaining the software platform used for quoting and binding business across multiple insurance programs. Tyler also develops underwriting guidelines and policy forms for various carriers and implements data analytical tools and system automation for the quoting and policy issuance processes.

Prior to their current role, Tyler served as the Director of System Underwriting and Senior Underwriter at Rocklake Insurance Group. In these roles, they also focused on implementing data analytical tools and system automation for underwriting processes. Tyler evaluated insurance applications, provided price quotations, and developed underwriting guidelines to meet the risk appetite of different insurance companies.

Before joining Rocklake Insurance Group, Tyler worked as a Program Underwriter at another insurance company, where they evaluated insurance applications, assisted in developing underwriting guidelines, and established efficient risk submission and binding processes for large fleets.

Tyler's previous work experience includes a role as a Territory Sales Manager at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company. In this position, they managed a team and was responsible for sales growth and business development in a territory with multiple retail locations.

Tyler Hayes, CPCU, AIDA, has a Bachelor's degree in History from Texas A&M University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Tyler then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University between 2018 and 2021. Currently, Tyler is working towards obtaining a Master's degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Florida State University, starting in 2021 and expected to finish in 2023. In terms of certifications, Tyler obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from The Institutes-AICPCU in 2016. Tyler also holds the Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA) certification from The Institutes, earned in 2021.
