Jeff McLean

Associate Professor at Rockland Community College

Jeff McLean is an experienced educator and researcher in the fields of biology and health sciences. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Rockland Community College since August 2014, McLean teaches a range of subjects including General Biology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Microbiology, while also coordinating the BBB Biological Research Society. Previous roles include Assistant Professor positions at both CUNY Brooklyn College and CUNY LaGuardia Community College, where McLean taught various biology courses and developed workshops on scientific communication. McLean earned a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from CUNY Queens College in March 2011, following a Master of Philosophy in Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York at Fredonia. Early career experiences include working as a Jr. Chemist at Estee Lauder and teaching high school biology and chemistry.
