Kishon Hickman

Adjunct Professor at Rockland Community College

Kishon Hickman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in criminal justice education and law enforcement. Currently serving as the President of the Criminal Justice Educators Association of New York State Inc. since October 2022, Kishon also holds adjunct professor positions at both Rockland Community College and St. John Fisher University, as well as a role as Subject Matter Expert at Excelsior University. Prior to these roles, Kishon served as a Lieutenant with the New York City Police Department from July 2002 to January 2023. Educationally, Kishon holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) from St. John Fisher University, a Master's degree from Seton Hall University, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, complemented by a foundational education from Middletown High School.
