Kasun Munasinghe

Kasun Munasinghe is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Manager of Engineering at Rockland Distilleries (Pvt) Ltd since July 2023. Previously, Kasun held the position of Senior Product Design Engineer at Atlas Labs from February 2021 to January 2024 and worked as a System Engineer at ETH Zürich from June 2020 to January 2021, where responsibilities included strategic technology decisions and project management across diverse teams. As a Research Assistant at ZHAW School of Engineering from September 2016 to January 2020, Kasun focused on product development, additive manufacturing, and research on gear safety validation. Early career experience includes a research internship at Tohoku University, contributing to the development of opto-mechanical components and a low CO2 emission power generation system. Kasun holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Industrial Engineering from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
