Maria Harris

Maria Harris, SPHR has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Maria began their career at THE MAY INSTITUTE as a Recruitment Manager, where they supervised all staff recruiting functions and served as a Diversity Ambassador. Maria then worked as a Contract Recruiter at Zurich Scudder Investments, where they developed recruitment strategies and implemented creative recruitment vehicles. In 2003, Maria joined Rockland Trust as the Director of Recruitment and Employee Relations, where they provided consultation services on employee relations and talent acquisition. Maria later served as the Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources, responsible for developing and leading the bank's HR strategy and supporting a decentralized workforce of over 1000 employees. Maria is skilled in areas such as employee relations, diversity and inclusion management, workforce planning, HR analytics, executive compensation, merger integration, and strategic planning.

Maria Harris, SPHR, studied at Curry College from 2014 onwards, focusing on SPHR. Prior to that, they attended Bridgewater State University, where they earned a BA in Business Administration with a specialization in HR. Additionally, they previously attended Curry College, although their field of study during that time is unspecified.
