David McCann

David McCann has a diverse range of work experience in the field of engineering. David most recently held the position of VP Package Engineering at Rockley Photonics Inc, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they served as Sr Director Packaging Engineering at the same company starting in February 2020. Before joining Rockley Photonics Inc, David worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as VP Post Fab Development and Operations from June 2011 to November 2019. David also had a significant tenure at Amkor Technology, where they held the role of VP from June 2000 to June 2011. Their earliest work experience in this field was as a Sr Director at BIOTRONIK from September 1991 to May 2000.

David McCann obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. David pursued further education at Santa Clara University and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Management from 1982 to 1985.
