Jerry Byrd

Jerry Byrd has a strong background in the field of photonics. Jerry started their career at Ortel Corporation in 1994 as a Senior Member Technical Staff and worked there for 7 years. In 2001, they joined Xponent Photonics as a Technical Manager and stayed there for 6 years. Jerry then moved on to OEwaves Inc. in 2007, where they served as the Director of Product Development for 8 years. In 2015, Jerry joined Rockley Photonics Inc. and held various leadership positions, including Director of Packaging Engineering, Director of Product Development for Communications, and currently, Director of Test Engineering.

Jerry Byrd attended UCLA and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1987.
