Fabio Terencio do Vale

Fabio Terencio do Vale has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Software Developer at MITS Medical IT Solutions, where they dealt with a new protocol for hardware communication, created bilingual technical support and software help documentation, and designed hotkeys settings for end users. In 2013, they interned as an Engineering Systems Intern at ABB, where they fixed code issues and applied .NET technologies to create applications. In 2014, they worked as a Jr. Software Engineer at LG Electronics, where they debugged, performed bug fixes and unit tests, customized software operations, evaluated software requirements, created technical documentation, created Android-related presentations, developed a new app, and implemented a new Android Launcher. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at MercadoLivre.com, where they created software solutions, provided backend maintenance, refactored the frontend, and integrated internal apps with a new CRM. Lastly, in 2018, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at RockSpoon Inc, where they led a team of developers, discussed business requirements, architecture, designs, flows and implementation of the system, provided code review, pair programming and feedback, actively participated in the migration from the Java/Postgres monolith to Golang/MongoDB services, participated in the DevOps initiative, and traveled to Palo Alto, US and Minsk, Belarus.

Fabio Terencio do Vale completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Itajubá between 2009 and 2014. During 2012 and 2013, they also attended Missouri University of Science and Technology as a non-degree student, studying Computer Engineering.
