Abhishek Agarwal

Mr. Abhishek Agarwal is a Managing Partner at Rockstud Capital LLP and has 12+ years of experience in Indian financial markets. His key expertise lies in equities as an asset class. He has done his graduation from HR College & further pursued his MSc Finance from Lancaster University Management School in the United Kingdom. He started his career in PINC as a Research Analyst in the Institutional Desk. After completing 2 years in the said organization, he joined his family run stock broking firm, Fortune Interfinance Ltd. He was in a pivotal position to set up entire Mumbai office operations, institution desk & research in equities. He handled a team of 20 people at various divisions and roles.

His extensive knowledge helped him to advise and exchange his views on economy and stocks in various news channels like CNBC Awaaz, CNBC TV18, ET Now, NDTV Profit & Zee News.

He later decided to focus on early stage startups and joined various angel networks like Indian Angel Network, Lets Venture, Venture Catalysts. He has been investing successfully as an Angel Investor for the last 5 years and invested over 24 Start-ups across all sectors. Some successful startups he invested in are Loginext Solutions (exited at 16X), Kwench Lab Solutions (exited at 5X), Wellness Forever (carry return 5X), Getmyparking (carry return 3x) etc. He has also been invited several times as guest speaker at various start up events (like Bombay Chamber of Commerce, Lets Ignite, Assocham Chambers of Commerce, etc) in India.

He successfully formed SEBI registered VC fund “Rockstud Capital Investment Fund” in Sep 2018 with a target corpus of $25mn.
