Bogdan Balasa

Bogdan Balasa is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems development. Since June 2020, Bogdan has served as a Senior Software Engineer at Rockwell Automation. Prior to this role, Bogdan was a TCMS Software Engineer at Bombardier Transportation, where expertise in embedded Linux on ARM Cortex platforms and networking was developed from October 2017 to June 2020. Bogdan also led a team in embedded systems at Morgan Schaffer from 2005 to September 2017, focusing on Embedded Linux on the Cortex A9 platform. Earlier experience includes positions at GE Lighting as an R&D Electronics Technician and at Indaeltrac SA as a Software Engineer, developing firmware for various industrial control applications. Bogdan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer and Information Technology from the University of Craiova, completed in 2003.
