Matthew Friedman serves as Managing Director at Rockwood Capital, where responsibilities include leading acquisitions in the Pacific Northwest and Denver, and membership on the ESG Committee. Since joining in April 2009, Matthew has held multiple positions, including Director and Vice President, focusing on acquisitions and asset management across various product types, particularly in Seattle, Portland, and Denver, with experience in the Bay Area. Prior to Rockwood Capital, Matthew worked at Eastdil Secured as an Associate and Analyst, leading analytics teams and managing equity sales projects, and began a career as a Consultant at Bates White. Matthew holds a B.S. in Economics, Summa Cum Laude, from Duke University and studied economics at The London School of Economics.

Rockwood has a long history of private equity and debt investments in various property types, including office, residential, retail, data center and hotel projects.
