Birthe Olesen

Birthe Olesen is a highly experienced European Patent Attorney currently with the ROCKWOOL Group since January 2023. Previously, Birthe held positions as a Senior Patent Specialist at DTU - Technical University of Denmark in late 2022, and as Patent Manager and European Patent Attorney at Ambu A/S from April 2020 to October 2022. Birthe worked at Patrade og Patrade Legal from July 2012 to April 2020 as a Partner and European Patent Attorney. Earlier career experience includes roles at DIFI, where Birthe served as a teacher, and Larsen & Birkeholm as a Patent Agent. Birthe began in the field at the Danish Patent and Trademark Office, where responsibilities included Senior Examiner and Specialist from February 1996 to March 2009. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. in Chemistry from DTU, and advanced training in patent litigation and international IPR at CEIPI.
