Haosheng Zhou

Haosheng Zhou is a prominent expert in combustion and melting processes with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Chief R&D Engineer at ROCKWOOL Group since 2011, Haosheng Zhou has previously held the position of Senior R&D Engineer, focusing on cupola and the development of new melting processes. Prior experience includes roles as an Engineer at Rockwool International a/s and a Post Doc and Assistant Professor at the CHEC Research Group, Department of Chemical Engineering, DTU, where research centered on biomass, coal, and coke combustion involving CFD modeling and large-scale boiler tests. Additional roles include Researcher at Promes, CNRS in France, an Associate Professor at Southeast University in China, and Researcher at the State Key Lab of Coal Combustion. Haosheng Zhou earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Jiangsu University in 1997.
