Henrik Frank Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Henrik Frank started their career as a Junior Business Consultant at Virksomhedsrådgiverne A/S in 1986. Henrik Frank then worked at BP, where they held various positions, including Business Analyst, Marketing Manager, and Sales Manager. In 1994, they joined Kosan Teknova A/S as the Business Director for Asia. Following that, they worked at Grodan as the Sales & Marketing Director and later became the Managing Director. In 2002, they joined ROCKFON (ROCKWOOL International A/S) as the Managing Director. Henrik Frank also served as a Board Member at Keflico A/S from 2010 to 2012. From 2007 to 2011, they were the Division Managing Director for Systems at ROCKWOOL Group. Henrik Frank then became the Division Managing Director for Europe from 2012 to 2015 and eventually the Senior Vice President for North East Europe & Russia from 2015 onwards. In 2009, they became a Board Member at FLUMROC AG. Since 2016, they have been actively involved with DI - Dansk Industri, serving on various committees and boards related to climate policy, energy, construction, and more. Henrik Frank Nielsen also served as the Chairman of the Board for BetterHome by Danfoss, Grundfos, and ROCKWOOL Group from 2015 to 2021.

Henrik Frank Nielsen completed their high school education at Viborg Amtsgymnasium from 1977 to 1980. Henrik Frank then pursued a Master's degree in Business Economics at Aarhus University from 1981 to 1986. In 1990, Henrik attended INSEAD to study Marketing Strategy. In 1992, they attended Cranfield School of Management for Marketing Planning. In 2002, Henrik briefly studied Strategic Management at IMD.
