Holly Basta is an accomplished academic in the field of virology with extensive teaching experience at Rocky Mountain College since July 2014, currently serving as an Associate Professor after previously holding the position of Assistant Professor. Courses taught include Anatomy & Physiology, Virology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, and Medical Careers Pipeline. Prior to this, Holly Basta worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on molecular virology, and gained experience as a Teaching Assistant in various subjects, including Molecular Graphics and Sequence Analysis. Additionally, an instructor role in Exploring Biology was held in the fall of 2012. Holly Basta's educational background includes a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Microbiology from Montana State University-Bozeman.
