Marissa Thonnings currently serves as the Field Program Coordinator for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, where responsibilities include processing vendor direct orders and collaborating with the Field Program Specialist. Prior experience includes the role of Member Service Coordinator at Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, focusing on customer service and membership database management, as well as working as a Sales Associate at Boot Barn. Earlier positions at Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation involved serving as a Visitor Center Student Assistant, engaging with the public on conservation issues, and completing an internship in the Lands and Conservation department. Marissa Thonnings holds a degree in Resource Conservation with a focus on Environmental Policy and Resource Planning from the University of Montana, and is currently pursuing further education in the Wilderness Management Distance Education Program at the same institution.
