Laura Mongold, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience in the field of developmental disabilities and early childhood intervention. Laura began their career at Nationwide Children's Hospital in 2001 as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist, where they worked until 2010. In 2010, they joined the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist, and later became the Assistant Director in 2017. Currently, in 2022, Laura is working as a Clinical Team Lead at Rocky Mountain Human Services.

Laura Mongold, M.Ed. earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology from Kent State University in 1999. Laura then went on to pursue a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the same university in 2000. In 2013, Laura obtained a Principal License PK-6 from the University of Dayton, specializing in Educational Leadership and Administration. Laura also holds additional certifications including Early Intervention Supervisor and Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (3-8) from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and the Ohio Department of Education respectively. Furthermore, Laura is a certified PLAY Project Home Consultant from the PLAY Project Organization and an Early Intervention Specialist (birth-2) from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.
