Susan Kohut

Susan Kohut is an experienced Development Director currently serving at RMI since April 2023, focusing on foundations. Prior to this role, Susan held various leadership positions at the Sierra Club, including Senior Advancement Director, where contributions were made toward environmental advocacy and initiatives. Susan’s career includes significant roles in other nonprofit organizations, such as the Youth and Pet Survivors (YAPS) and Women's Bean Project, both dedicated to impactful community service and support. With a strong background in major gifts and fundraising, Susan has successfully advanced animal health and welfare at Morris Animal Foundation and enhanced awareness and revenue for the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation. Susan holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Rider University.
