Taylor is a manager on the Federal Policy team for the US Program. Heavy industry decarbonization is her main focus with specific expertise in clean hydrogen practices and its application in various “hubs” and industrial applications or regions.
Taylor Krause has a background in government affairs, coalition management, and grassroots organizing for federal climate and clean energy policy.
She most recently joined RMI from the government affairs consulting firm Boundary Stone Partners in Washington DC, which specializes in clean energy clientele and consulted on a broad swath of clean energy technology topics.
While working at Boundary Stone Partners, Taylor earned her MSc from Johns Hopkins in Energy Policy & Climate, where she conducted her research capstone on hydrogen titled, “An Analysis of the Barriers to Deployment and Supportive Policies for the Commercialization of Hydrogen Energy.”
She was a fellow for the Clean Energy Leadership Institute’s 2020 Washington DC cohort and a member of the government affairs staff for Citizens’ Climate Lobby.
Taylor also earned a B.S. in Chemistry and Environmental Science & Policy from Chapman University. During her undergraduate career, she conducted a variety of physical science undergraduate research, including atmospheric science research at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center via NASA’s Student Airborne Research Program.
