Yujun Xue

Yujun is an associate with the RMI China’s heavy industry decarbonization group. He joined RMI in 2021, and his research focus is the decarbonization pathways of steel and chemicals. He has three years of consulting experience in energy transition, oil and gas, etc.

Prior to joining RMI, he was an oil and gas consulting analyst at IHS Markit. He served a sovereign wealth fund on oil and gas asset evaluation and a national oil company on technology market research and M&A strategy analysis. Yujun obtained a master’s degree from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom and a bachelor’s degree from China University of Petroleum.
