Arto Voutilainen

Arto Voutilainen has extensive work experience in technology and research. Arto started their career at Numcore Ltd as a Software Engineer in 2008, and later worked as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2011, they joined the University of Eastern Finland as a Researcher. Arto also worked at Rocsole as a Senior Technology Manager and later became the CTO. Their role at Rocsole is ongoing. Overall, Arto has worked in various roles related to software engineering, research, and technology management.

Arto Voutilainen earned their MSc in Physics from the University of Eastern Finland, a five-year program that they completed from 1992 to 1997. Arto later pursued further education and completed their PhD in Physics from the same university, a four-year program that they successfully finished from 1997 to 2001. In order to enhance their teaching skills, Arto enrolled in the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences for a two-year program in Teacher's pedagogical qualification, which they completed from 2008 to 2010.
