Algorithm Developer at ROD Radar

Amir Tal has worked in a variety of roles in the field of electro-optics and algorithm development. In 2020, they were an Algorithm Developer at RODRADAR. From 2019-2020, they were an Electro-Optics Algorithm Engineer at DSIT Solutions Ltd, where they were responsible for opto-acoustic detection algorithms, feature engineering, signal processing, data analysis, and hands-on setup measurements. From 2016-2019, they were an R&D Physicist at Civan Advanced Technologies, where they were responsible for defining tests and characterizing performance on component, module and system levels. From 2013-2016, they were a Nano Photonics Device Research Student at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, where they were responsible for electro-optical modeling and characterization of a novel SWIR detector. In 2012, they were an Electro-Optical Research Student at Soreq NRC.

Amir Tal has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electro-Optics Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which they obtained between 2014 and 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Materials Engineering from the same university between 2009 and 2013. Amir has also obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Machine Learning (2022), Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow (2022), Advanced Machine Learning and Signal Processing (2020), Digital Signal Processing (2020), and Neural Networks and Deep Learning (2020).
