Marie-Paule Emonds

Marie-Paule Emonds is a highly experienced transplant immunologist with a focus on transfusion medicine and transplantation immunology. Since August 1987, Marie-Paule has been associated with Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen, where the current role is Director of Clinical Counselling since 2019. Previous positions include Medical Director of the HILA (H & I Laboratory in Mechelen) from 2008 to 2019 and Medical Director of the Blood Transfusion Center Vlaams-Brabant - Limburg from 2006 to 2014. In addition, Marie-Paule has served as a clinical pathologist and consultant at UZ/KULeuven since October 2000, specializing in histocompatibility and blood transfusion. Marie-Paule holds an MD, PhD in Medicine from KU Leuven.
