Jenene Seymour

Jenene Seymour has a strong work history in the nonprofit and construction industries. Most recently, they served as the Director of Diversity and Community Development at Rodgers Builders, Inc. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director of the Project One Scholarship Fund. Jenene also held the role of Development Manager at Reading Partners and VP of Operations/Real Estate Broker at NIA Construction, Inc. Jenene has experience in the education sector as well, having worked as the Director of Foundation Relations at Johnson C. Smith University. Early in their career, Jenene held the position of Senior VP of Scholarships at the Foundation For The Carolinas.

Jenene Seymour has a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Education Administration/Higher Education from Temple University. Jenene also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from the same university. Additionally, they received a Construction Management Diploma from North Carolina State University. Jenene Seymour has obtained additional certifications, including a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business in 2023. In 2021, they earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. Jenene also holds a Real Estate Broker certification from the North Carolina Real Estate Commission, obtained in December 2013.
