Laura Calvert has a diverse work experience in the environmental field. Laura started their career as an Intern at Coastal Resources, Inc. in 2010 and later worked as a Staff Scientist at Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. from 2011 to 2013. After that, they joined Dieffenbauch & Hritz, LLC as an Environmental Scientist II from 2014 to 2018. Laura then worked at ECS Limited as an Environmental Project Manager from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are an Ecologist I at Ecotone, Inc. starting from 2022. Laura's most recent role is as an Environmental Project Manager at Rodgers Consulting, which they began in May 2023.
Laura Calvert completed their undergraduate education at West Virginia University from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Laura became certified as a Maryland Master Naturalist through the University of Maryland Extension in January 2020. In July 2015, they obtained the US Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation certification from Richard Chinn Environmental Training, Inc. Moreover, they acquired the Construction Safety and Health certification from OSHA in October 2014. Laura also holds the Forest Conservation Qualified Professional certification from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources since June 2014. Most recently, in March 2022, they received their CPR, AED & First Aid Certification from Heart To Beat LLC.
