Sara Poindexter, PE

Sara Poindexter, PE has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Sara is currently a Partner and Principal Engineer at Studio Sustena, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Rodriguez Consulting LLC from June 2017 onwards. Before that, they were a Project Manager at the same company from May 2014 to June 2017. Sara also worked as a Project Manager at HBK Engineering, LLC from February 2014 to May 2014. Sara has also held various roles at Orange County Government, including Chief Engineer from June 2012 to January 2014, Senior Engineer from May 2011 to June 2012, and Engineer III from December 2008 to May 2011. Sara began their career at MSCW, where they served as a Senior Project Engineer from June 2007 to November 2008, a Project Engineer from March 2004 to June 2007, and a Staff Engineer from March 2002 to February 2004.

Sara Poindexter, PE attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering. Sara has further enhanced their qualifications by obtaining additional certifications as a Professional Engineer. In 2007, they obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers, and in 2013, they obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
